Life Skills program

CADA's eight week Life Skills course is a comprehensive, positive youth development program designed to cultivate capable and healthy young people of strong character through life skills, character education and drug and alcohol prevention. Lessons include topics such as: peer pressure; decision making skills; refusal skills; healthy and unhealthy habits; the harmful effects of alcohol and drugs; how to deal with your feelings; teamwork skills; friendship skills; work ethic and responsibility.

CADA currently conducts this eight week Life Skills course in after schools with groups of up to fifteen youth all within a similar age range.

In 2011 thus far, 55 children aged between 5 – 8 years old have completed this important eight-week program.

Since 2006, a grand total of 459 children aged from 5 to 11 years old have completed this important eight week program.
